KoinX

India, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Switzerland
April 2023 – Present
SEO & Content Specialist

KoinX is a crypto tax platform helping retail investors and traders calculate, manage, and file their taxes accurately. When I joined in April 2023, they had ~1.5K monthly organic visits, an existing content strategy, and a team that needed structure — but no system to scale.

I rebuilt the content operation from scratch, launched programmatic tool pages, and expanded into six international markets. Traffic grew from 1.5K to 5K in the first year, then accelerated to 25K by January 2025 and 30K+ by September 2025 — a 20× overall increase. Organic became their primary acquisition channel.

The Challenge

KoinX sits in Google's YMYL (Your Money, Your Life) category — crypto tax — where trust signals are scrutinised more strictly than almost any other niche. The specific challenges:

  • Minimal organic traffic despite a solid, established product
  • Existing content strategy needed a complete rebuild for scale
  • YMYL category meant Google applied strict E-E-A-T requirements
  • Six separate international markets, each with different tax rules and search intent
  • Competitive SERP landscape dominated by established fintech publishers

What I Did

  • Rebuilt the content strategy from scratch — new editorial policy, writer/editor/SEO checklists, and 60+ blog/month cadence
  • Developed programmatic tool pages that drove 9K+ additional monthly visits
  • Strengthened technical SEO — site speed, metadata, schema, interlinking gaps
  • Built localized content strategies for India, UK, and Australia
  • Executed a long-term link-building campaign raising DA from 27 to 40
  • Rebuilt and trained the internal content team — on-page SEO sessions, blog templates, workflows
  • Expanded international reach to Canada, Japan, and Switzerland
Real Estate / PropTech

UrbanGround

Germany & India
January 2022 – January 2023
SEO & Content Specialist

UrbanGround is a real estate platform operating across Germany and India. When I joined, organic traffic was negligible — 484 monthly visits — in a space dominated by large, established portals with significantly more authority and budget.

The focus was on-page SEO, property listing content, and ad copy — working alongside a Senior Digital Marketer who handled link building and paid campaigns. In under three months, monthly traffic grew from 484 to 3.8K+, reaching 5.1K by the time I left.

Markets — Germany and India

The Challenge

  • 484 monthly organic visits — essentially zero organic presence
  • Competing in a market dominated by established portals with far greater domain authority
  • Needed to rank in two distinct markets: Germany and India
  • Property listings lacked SEO structure — no long-tail keywords, no FAQ integration

What I Did

  • Conducted a full SEO and content performance audit to identify quick wins
  • Integrated FAQs and long-tail keywords into property listings across both markets
  • Wrote all ad copy for digital campaigns — contributing to a 25–30% conversion rate lift
  • Developed landing pages optimised for both search visibility and conversion
  • On-page SEO across the entire site — meta, structure, internal linking
Media / Youth Content

Youth Ki Awaaz

India
April 2023 – July 2023
Traffic Growth Consultant

Youth Ki Awaaz is one of India's largest youth media platforms — already performing well organically when I came in. My engagement was focused on sharpening what they had: a full SEO and technical audit, SEO topic strategy for their existing Web Stories, and standardising editorial workflows so quality and discoverability scaled with their publishing volume.

With the right topic strategy applied to Web Stories, high-performing articles hit 10K+ page views — compounding results on a channel that was already live.

Daily traffic elevated through blog optimisation & new channel

The Challenge

  • High-volume content platform with organic visibility lagging behind publishing output
  • No standardised editorial SEO process — inconsistent on-page quality across articles
  • Web Stories were already live but topic selection wasn't being driven by search demand
  • Editorial team needed SEO processes embedded into day-to-day production, not just a one-off audit

What I Did

  • Conducted a full SEO and technical audit — structural, content, and discoverability gaps
  • Developed SEO topic strategy for their Web Stories — aligning existing channel with search demand, contributing to 10K+ views per high-performing story
  • Facilitated on-page SEO workshops for the editorial team
  • Built editorial templates, SEO checklists, and workflows to systematise content production
  • Prioritised student-related topics and seasonal search trends for maximum organic impact
Real Estate / Newsletter

Strategy & Setup Role
Freelance Engagement

ZeroFlux operates in one of the most difficult niches to rank in — real estate newsletters. High editorial standards, low search volume, niche audience. They had zero organic presence when I came in.

My role was scoped to strategy and setup: content plan, SEO architecture for the blog, and execution guidelines. Purely through blog content — no paid traffic, no link building — the site went from 0 to 100 monthly clicks in two months.

Monthly organic clicks in 2 months

No paid traffic, no link building — purely content
Niche
Real estate newsletters — high competition, low volume
2 months
Time from launch to 100 clicks

The Challenge

  • Highly niche industry — real estate newsletters — with limited search demand and a specialist audience
  • Zero existing organic presence or blog infrastructure
  • Tight scope: strategy and setup only, no ongoing content execution
  • Needed to show traction quickly with no paid budget to supplement

What I Did

  • Built the full content strategy from scratch — keyword targeting, topic clusters, editorial guidelines
  • Set up the blog architecture for long-term SEO scalability
  • Created a content plan covering high-intent, low-competition queries specific to the niche
  • Delivered an execution framework the internal team could follow independently post-engagement
